Multnomah Falls, on the Cusp of Winter, Horizontal
Multnomah Falls, on the Cusp of Winter, Horizontal
December is one of the few times the Benson Bridge at Multnomah Falls on Historic Hwy 30 is void of travelers. The footbridge that crosses Multnomah Creek is usually filled with people, visitors as well as locals. This horizontal wide angle view is also unusual as most waterfalls are shot vertically. A lovely scene on a lovely day in the Columbia River Gorge.

The Columbia Gorge is lush with waterfalls along the I84 corridor. There is also a feast of waterfalls on or near Mt Adams in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Mt Hood in or near the Mt Hood National Forest.
