Tanner Creek

from $4.50

Tanner Creek feeds into Wahclella Falls, considered an easy hike in the Columbia River Gorge. I used a slow shutter speed in this image to bring out textures in the moss-covered rock, mid-stream, the thick grouping of ferns on the creek’s bank; and add a silky soft look to the water. Taken on an overcast rainy day in spring when waterfalls are lush and creeks run wild.

The Columbia Gorge is lush with waterfalls along the I84 corridor. There is also a feast of waterfalls on or near Mt Adams in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Mt Hood in or near the Mt Hood National Forest.
