Women and Wildflowers Thursday, May 25 from 7-11am
Photography Workshop during White Salmon Wildflower Festival
Level: Beginner – Intermediate | Maximum participants: 6
For women who want to take better photographs, learn more about our cameras and nature in a safe and friendly, supportive environment. Working together, we’ll explore how to best use our cameras to capture delightful wildflowers and inspirational landscapes. With the guidance of a professional photographer, bring your thirst for knowledge and sense of adventure for a fun morning full of play.
Thursday, May 25 from 7-11am
Need: Digital or mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses, fully charged battery; and a tripod, basic camera knowledge (how to change settings). Be prepared for inclement weather, including a rain jacket (a plastic bag will work) for your camera. Extra memory cards, batteries and a cable release are helpful.
We’ll stay on the trail so as to not trample any vegetation.
Dress for weather in the Gorge.
Partnering with White Salmon Wildflower Festival, a percentage of workshop fees will go to support CultureSeed. CultureSeed offers Columbia Gorge youth long-term Outdoor Immersion and Outdoor Mentorship with a focus on Mental Health.
