Wildflower Portraits, Wednesday, May 17 from 7-11 am
Photography Workshop in partnership with White Salmon Wildflower Festival
Wildflower Portraits
Level: Beginner – Intermediate | Maximum participants: 6
Create intimate portraits of our amazing wildflowers with the guidance of a professional photographer. Photograph at your own pace, yet gain extensive knowledge of how to capture a unique perspective, using the camera and tools that you have; and learn what equipment can benefit future work. We’ll cover ‘how to see’…how to really see a wildflower in all its glory from behind your lens and capture that image.
Wednesday, 5/17 | 7-11am
Need: Need digital or mirrorless camera with a fully charged battery and interchangeable lenses; tripod, basic camera knowledge (how to change settings). Extra memory cards, batteries and a cable release are helpful. Be prepared for inclement weather, including a rain jacket (a plastic bag will work) for your camera.
We’ll stay on the trail so as to not trample any vegetation.
Dress for weather in the Gorge.
Partnering with White Salmon Wildflower Festival, a percentage of workshop fees will go to support CultureSeed. CultureSeed offers Columbia Gorge youth long-term Outdoor Immersion and Outdoor Mentorship with a focus on Mental Health.
